Background: Each year, staff presents to the Board of Education an annual review of the results of the State and Federal accountability system for the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.
Status During the 2018-19 school year, the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District’s students in grades three through eight and grade eleven participated in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) testing, which is aligned to the California Standards in English language arts (ELA) and mathematics. In addition, students in grades five, eight, and ten participated in the last pilot year of the new California Science Test (CAST). These assessments contribute to the Federal accountability system.
Fiscal Impact Our District receives reimbursement funding from the State of California for administration of the State testing programs. Expenses beyond the State funding reimbursement are paid from our District established assessment budget with Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) dollars.
