Quick Summary / Abstract:
Background: Staff has determined that the manufactured home (Unit), formerly located on Granada High School campus (298 Wall Street), that was previously used for a vandal watch program, is of nominal value, and the cost of removing the Unit would be significantly greater than the value of the Unit. In exchange for the buyer's services for removing the Unit from Granada High School, staff is seeking Board-approval to execute all documents necessary to accomplish the transfer of title of the Unit.
Status Our Board has previously approved the purchase and sale of the Unit. Staff is seeking Board-approval to execute all documents necessary to accomplish the transfer of ownership of the Unit.
Fiscal Impact There is no impact to the General Fund for the transfer of title.
Superintendent's Recommendation: Approve the Agreement for the title change, purchase and sale of manufactured home.
