Quick Summary / Abstract: Staff is requesting land use actions in partnership with the City of Livermore to dedicate rights-of-way around Livermore High School to reflect current use and utilization of the campus in order to support campus construction.
Background: Implementation of Measure J improvements at Livermore High School (LHS) continues. As part of this work, encroachment permits will be requested through the City of Livermore (City). During the preparation of required encroachment permits, in consultation with the City, staff has identified several items of adjustment and clean up to current rights-of-way, further defined and clarified in Attachments A and B. These adjustments are being requested to reflect current LHS and City operations, and in some cases long standing conditions.

Board of Trustee action is required in order to submit for approval of these adjustments to the City of Livermore Planning Commission, which will allow planned improvements at LHS. District staff has worked closely with City of Livermore staff to identify adjustments needed to clarify District easements and access. Staff continues to be grateful for this partnership.
Status Staff is requesting our Board of Trustees' dedications in fee to property summarized below and legally defined in Attachments A and B.

1. Dedication to the City of area where 4th Street and School Street used to meet, now portions of other streets auto part parking lot.

2. Dedication to the City for “orphaned” triangle of land, created when Madeira Street was laid out.

The Notice of Intention for our Governing Board to convey street rights-of-way to the City of Livermore has been posted at the District Office concurrent with posting of our Board agenda as required by law.
