Consultant Services Agreement_SWPPP - Michell.pdf
Quick Summary / Abstract:
The California State Water Resources Control Board regulates the Construction Stormwater Program, and requires the development of a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) by a certified Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD).
Construction projects that disturb one or more acres of soil are required to obtain coverage under the General Permit for Discharges of Storm Water Associated with Construction Activity Construction General Permit Order 2009-0009-DWQ. Construction activity subject to this permit includes clearing, grading, and disturbances to the ground such as stockpiling or excavation. The Joe Michell K-8 School Renovation Project scope of work meets the threshold for a required SWPPP.
Staff recommends contracting with Tully Consulting Group due to the firm's experience and qualifications.
Fiscal Impact:
The recommended contract amount is fifteen thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($15,250.00). This is a Measure J funded project.
Superintendent's Recommendation
